Here at MandM, we take your privacy and security very seriously. In an online space that can be a bit confusing, we want to make sure that you feel confident when shopping with us, so we have put together a few tips to help you keep safe.

We will only contact you from specific email addresses and phone numbers

Depending on your marketing settings, we will contact you to update you on the progress of an order, to let you know about our best and latest deals or to assist you with a customer service enquiry.

Marketing emails will always be sent from emails@comms.mandmdirect.com.

Marketing texts will always be sent from ‘MandM’.

Service emails (updating you on the progress of your order) will always be sent from website@mandmdirect.com.

Customer service emails will always be sent from customersupport@mandmdirect.com.

We will only ask you for certain information

If we require further information from you to process your order, such as an address correction, this request will always come from our customer service email address customersupport@mandmdirect.com.

To comply with GDPR requirements, if you contact us for assistance regarding your order, we may require the following information from you to verify your identity:

• Your full name
• Your full billing address, including postcode
• Your registered email address
• The order number you are enquiring about (if applicable)

Any request for this information will always come from our customersupport@mandmdirect.com email address.

MandM will never ask you for the following information by email, phone or text:

• Your full 16 digit card number
• The 3 digit security (CVC) number on the back of your card
• Your password
• Any passcode sent by your bank to verify a payment

Beware of fake websites

As scam attempts become more sophisticated, it can be more difficult to identify when you’ve visited a fake website. Here are some tips to keep you safe:

• Always check that the website URL is www.mandmdirect.com, anything else is not us
• Always check that your connection to the site is secure - you should see a padlock icon in the search bar of your web browser
• All of our items are already discounted and we do not offer any discount codes or vouchers; if you see any codes or vouchers, they are not from us
• Always check that the correct payment options are presented to you at checkout. At present, MandM offers payment with:
  • VISA/Mastercard
  • Apple Pay (iOS Only)
  • American Express
  • Klarna
  • Clearpay (for orders over £30)
  • PayPal

What to do if you think you’ve been scammed

If you think you may have been the victim of a scam, please contact your bank/building society to freeze the affected card immediately.

You should also contact us using our contact form without delay.
